Planning Your Custom Shirts? Give Your Order a Little Breathing Room.
A little planning helps your custom shirts come together smoothly, from the first idea to pickup day.

A fundraiser. A family trip. New shirts for your crew. Whatever you’re planning, there’s usually a date on the calendar when those shirts need to be ready.
Our best advice? Start the conversation early.
At 843 Teez, we love being able to say, “Yes, we can make that happen.” A little lead time gives us more room to find the right garments, work through your artwork, and fit your order into our production schedule.
When should you reach out?
As soon as you know you’ll need shirts—even if you haven’t figured everything out yet.
You don’t need a finished design to ask questions. An idea, an estimated quantity, and your event date give us a useful starting point. We can help you work through the rest.
Just remember that starting the conversation and starting production are separate steps. Your quoted turnaround begins once we have your required deposit, approved artwork, and final quantities and sizes.
Does a week’s notice work?
Sometimes! But it depends on garment availability, the printing involved, and the orders already on our calendar.
If we finished your last order quickly, we’re glad we could help. Your next order may need a different timeframe, especially during busy seasons or for larger quantities.
Tell us the date you need your shirts in hand before placing your order. We’ll check availability and confirm what we can accommodate.
What does the quoted turnaround mean?
If we quote 7–10 business days, please plan around the full window. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
An order can still be on schedule even if it isn’t finished on the earliest day of that window. We may finish sooner, and when we do, we’ll be happy to let you know.
For shipped orders, remember to allow time for delivery after production, too.
What helps keep things moving?
A few details make a big difference:
- One complete list of sizes and quantities.
- Approved artwork with spelling and details checked carefully.
- Your required deposit.
- A clear, confirmed deadline if you have one.
Changes after approval can affect timing, so taking a little extra care with those details upfront helps everyone.
Follow along with your order
Wondering where your shirts are in the process? Our Order Status page lets you follow your order’s progress while we work on it.
We’ll contact you as soon as your order is ready and reach out if anything changes your expected completion window.
And if you have a question along the way, you’re always welcome to ask. We’re happy to help you understand what’s happening with your order.
Whether we’re making a handful of shirts or several hundred, we want you to be proud to wear them. Thanks for giving us the time to do that work well—and for keeping our small business growing.
